The Gasmate Bayonet to 1/4" BSP / 3/8" BSP Female Braided Stainless Steel Gas Hose is one of the most versatile gas hoses a camper can keep in their caravan or camper trailer.

The male bayonet fitting attaches directly to the regulated female bayonet outlet of a caravan, and whilst the other end of the hose features a 1/4" BSP fitting that is ideal for cast iron ring burners, the hose comes with a 1/4" BSP to 3/8" BSP adapter that allows it to also be used with appliances with a 3/8" BSP fitting such as wok burners and RV grills.

Finished off with a stainless steel braid for strength and longevity, this Bayonet to 1/4" BSP Braided Gas Hose by Gasmate is made to the highest quality and comes in multiple lengths to suit your camping set-up.

Does the Bayonet to 1/4" BSP / 3/8" BSP Female Braided Gas Hose also come as a Male braided gas hose

G'day Peter,

This hose currently only comes as a Female Hose, it has the Male Bayonet fitting to your caravan and then the Female 1/4" or 3/8" BSP (with the included adaptor) to your Stove/ Grill.

Gas leakage1 answer

Hi Just wanting to know if when the bayonet end is undone from my caravan will the gas contained in the gas line remain. Given the length I am keen that any gas remaining in line isn't lost each time I disconnect.

G'day Brian,

Gas hoses for camp stoves are generally not self-sealing, so when you disconnect from the gas supply whatever is in the line will dissipate.
