Sometimes the best part of leaving the big smoke is getting to sit back, relax and enjoy some quiet away from the hustle and bustle. But in order to pursue this level of leisureliness, you’ve got to have a stellar chair - which is where the Layback Lounger from Coleman comes in.
There’s no worse feeling than when you plonk down on a chair, and the back gives way unexpectedly – thankfully this chair has a safety lock mechanism so you can rest with confidence. You can use the headrest for a nice quiet snooze, or you can move it down to support your lower back if you’ve been a little to gung ho unloading the car. With a discreet fold-out drink holder attached, you can recline in your chair and enjoy a nice beverage while you do it.
For the camper who priorities relaxing over rambling – then the Layback Lounger from Coleman will help you recline in your backyard, or in the great outdoors.

Hi Will the oztrail large furniture bag be the best fit for this chair? If not what would you recommend Thanks
G'day April,
Yeah it will! The dimensions are almost bang on with a little room to spare.
Hey, do these come in purple any more?
G'day Terrance,
These chairs now come in the Heather/Grey colour, the purple colour has now been discontinued sorry.
Does this chair only have the two reclining positions? (as per video)
G'day Michelle,
The chair can be locked in any position, between the two shown in the video.
Just hold yourself where you'd like to be, and lock of the latch.
Hope that helps!
Is this fit oztrail medium size bag (Item Code: 130059)?
G'day Gerald,
It's a bit of a tight squeeze, but they do just fit in the Oztrail Medium Furniture Bag.
Hi there, can you please advise the diameter of the frame? thanks.
G'day Virginia,
I've measured our display layback lounger and the diameter is 19mm.
Just wondering what the frame diameter is. I'm hoping to put my Oz tent table on it!
G'day Virginia,
Unfortunately, to be able to use your OZTent table, you need a straight vertical leg for it to attach, unlike those on the Layback Lounger with it's angled frame. You could try one of OZtent's chairs but you'd have to sacrifice putting your feet up, or consider OZtrail's Handy Table instead..? Hope that helps :)
Is the drink holder the wine glass version that the stem fits through and the holder cups underneath the body of the glass? The top is usually a plastic ring top and the the bottom ring dangles from chain?
G'day Susie,
You're spot on, the drink holders on these are designed to fit a wine glass stem through them. So the bottom section hangs from the small chains and has a cutaway allowing you to slip the stem of the glass through.
Coleman Layback Lounger, wanting to know maximum weight his longer can safely hold please?
G'day Gloria,
The Coleman Layback Lounger can hold up to 130kg.
I have seen others pictures and their chair looks paler...curious
G'day Renee,
Yep - the image for the Coleman Layback Lounger has the purple colour pretty spot on. It's definitely a bright and vibrant colour.
I was wondering if I could adjust this chair so that I can lie flat on it?
G'day Vince,
I have just tested this myself in store, and while you can push it quite far back, your legs will be raised up in the air so it's not going to be a flat sleeping surface. You will probably be able to have a snooze on it though anyhow if that helps - it just won't be like lying down on a bed or sofa.
Does it have a carry bag
G'day Ken,
The head rest on the Layback Lounger can be moved up and down so you can position it at the head, or at the lower back area for support. As for carry bag, this particular model doesn't come with one unfortunately.
