Hello what age is this appropriate for roughly? My son is six months old and 8kgs.
G'day Bonnie,
Deuter indicates most children will be large enough once they're around 8 months old, however, once your son is able to hold himself up and is tall enough to fit he should be fine in the Kid Comfort Sunroof.
Does this one come with a rain cover aswell?
G'day Sal,
The Deuter Kid Comfort Sunroof does not come with a rain cover.
We may be able to get one in for you, shoot us an email to service@snowys.com.au and our Special Orders team can chase it up.
What is the difference between this one and the pro version (other than the included backpack)? Thanks.
Hi Nikki,
The Kid Comfort Pro and Kid Comfoty both have the same harness system and carry weight. The Pro version has a small backpack included, but apart from that and a few cosmetic differences, they're pretty similar.
NA
G'day Arwen,
Yes the Kid Comforts come with foot stirrups for little legs to have a rest :)
Hi, my son is 11 months old and weighs 12 kg. He is above average height. How long would the child carrier last approximately until he outgrows it? Thanks.
G'day David,
The maximum carrying weight of the Kid Comfort packs is 22kg including the child and any gear, so for most children they'll suit through the toddler years and possibly up to around 4 years old depending on height. Because children grow differently Deuter doesn't specify a maximum height, but as long as they're under the weight rating and fit securely they should be fine.
