After a long day of adventure on the trail or at the campsite, get back to basecamp and doze on the HexaTherm Pro Hiker Mattress from Black Wolf.
This self-inflating mat has a 30D stretch fabric with a TPU coating for durability, and the base is tough and non-slip so that it doesn’t slide around on your tent floor. For comfort and support as you sleep, this ergonomic mat has a horizontally cored foam inner, 60mg of insulation to keep you warmer and is easy to inflate thanks to the flat recessed valve. It also comes with a repair kit should you need to patch it up.
Snooze soundly on your outdoor adventures, by adding the HexaTherm Pro Hiker Mattress from Black Wolf to your sleep system.
The Black Wolf HexaTherm Pro Hiker isn't a self-inflating mattress, so it does come with a small pump sack to allow for quick and easy inflation!

why more $ for more weight??!1 answer
why is the more expensive "pro" mat a heavier foam filled one, compared to the lighter and **cheaper** fibre filled non-pro version? Is this a typo (has BW got their doc's confused)?

G'day Stu,
There isn't a whole lot of difference here. The Pro version is longer, wider, and made from a different fabric which is a little softer and feels more luxurious. This leads to a heavier mattress, but if you're looking for something lightweight and functional then the Lite version is definitely a great option.

What is the R value?1 answer
Is it suitable for 4 season hiking?

G'day Joe,
At this stage we don't have any R-values for the Black Wolf Hexatherm mats, however we reached out to Black Wolf who have confirmed they're in the process of having them tested, with results due in the next month. As soon as the results are released and packaging updated we'll get the information up online. Unfortunately at this stage we don't know if they'll be suitable for 4 season hiking.
