Great little stove! It will be extremely practical for our forthcoming trip across Australia when we only need to make a quick cuppa or warm up our food without the hassle of setting up the big stove. Snowys was extremely reliable and fast with their delivery as per usual!
Perfect camping/travelling companion. Had one before and couldn't do without on for our roadside travelling brews and camping stops. First came in contact with using one of these dual fuel 50 years ago whilst in the army. Loved it then, love it again/still.
This stove is well made and burns efficiently and cleanly with shellite and produces a hot flame. Takes little time to boil the kettle to make a coffee. I am pleased with Snowy's price, quick delivery and robust packaging. I would recommend them and this product for purchase.
Haven't used on the trail yet but in test use very impressed with ease of use and amount of heat it generates.
Works well on white spirit. Makes a quick cup of tea. Have not yet tried to cook a meal on it, but generally pleased with ease of use.
Wanted one after my mate took one on a trip across the Simpson. So quick for boiling the billy and excellent in windy conditions.A qaulity product that is well made and after 10 years both of his are still going strong.Easy to stow and very fast to heat ,also economical to run,a good purchase from a dedicated camping company.
Had this item some years ago, which served me very well as a car camping stove. However, I exclusively used unleaded petrol in it and eventually the additives in the fuel clogged up the generator pipe which is unclean-able. With my new one I'll use only Shellite fuel, which is much purer than regular unleaded. Great flame adjustment on this stove, from roaring to a simmer.
Portable and economical and has a hotter flame than gas. A good addition to the camping pack
...I have noticed you say late June 2017, but I've also see other goods which have to be pre-ordered which say they should have been available in Early June which is long past.Do you supply spare parts for this stove.
Thanks for letting us know, we do try and keep on top of these things, but we have had some system changeovers - so I do apologise about that. I'll make sure that gets updated to reflect the correct details.
Spare parts for this stove aren't an off the shelf item, but we should be able to get spare parts in depending on what they are.
6 inch sewer pipe with two slide on caps.
They used to be available here with the plastic case. Got a few mates that have them. I'm 99% sure back in the day Snowys did sell them in the case too
Thanks for your input Drew,
I've just checked the current Coleman catalogue, and the case is still not something that we are able to get our hands on, sorry about that everyone!
