If you’re on the lookout for a smaller day pack that can still carry a heavier load of gear then look no further than the Deuter Futura Pro 34 SL.
The Futura Pro 34 is a slim line design, so it caters to those with a narrow or smaller frame. The support system has a spring steel wire design, which is lightweight and flexible for easy movement. The mesh back panel keeps your pack away from your body so you’ll get plenty of cool air circulation, and you won’t perspire as much when you’re trekking.
And with plenty of padding on the shoulder straps and lumbar area, you’ll be comfortable as well as well ventilated. With This pack is top loading, which is really easy to access and has plenty of space for gear, or for a lighter load you can compress it down to lower its profile. The bottom can be zipped up so you can use it full length, or to separate your gear. The hip belt contours to the hips, and the straps are padded for comfort.
Included is a detachable rain cover which protect your gear in adverse conditions which makes it perfect for travelling or hitting the trail.
Does this pack have the air mesh? Do you have a photo of the other side of the pack (strap side)?
G'day Sam,
The Deuter Futura Pro 34 SL does have a mesh back. Thanks for pointing the lack of images out. I'll get our team onto uploading some images, but in the meantime, you can view the harness via Deuter's website here.
Is this pack designed for Females or is it a unisex backpack?
Howdy Glen,
This particular pack is designed for those with a slim or slender frame, or narrower shoulder width, however it is suitable for either male or female. It features plenty of shoulder padding on the straps and well ventilated to keep the back cooler on those warmer weather hikes.
