Frontier Camping Lantern 1000

G'day Julia,

I've checked with our display stock, and the bottom 'cap' of the lantern is removable. To remove it, unwind the central piece on the underside of the lantern (arrows indicating to open and close), and keep unwinding until the bottom cap comes away completely. It has a long thread so it will take a second. Drop in the batteries according to positive and negative sides and then replace the cap.

So sorry that we've taken a while to get back to you, I've just checked the display model of this lantern, and it does have a dimming switch for getting the level of brightness that you need.

The Primus Frontier Camping Lantern 1000 will run for 10 hours on the high setting and 100 hours on the low setting.

Unfortunately, I've just double checked with display stock and the Primus Frontier Camping Lantern 1000 doesn't come with a hanging hook at the base.
