The Freestanding 360 Awning by Darche is the world's first rear-mounted 360° awning — and it doesn't play by the rules!
With a massive 13.8 square metres of coverage wrapping around three sides of your rig, this game-changer delivers serious shelter where it counts. Whether you're deep in the bush or chasing the horizon, it turns your vehicle into a fully equipped basecamp in minutes. At its core sits a heavy-duty, 8-arm aluminium alloy frame built to take a beating — telescoping rafter arms pack down tight to just 136cm yet open to an imposing 400x495cm canopy. The 220gsm ripstop polycotton canvas shrugs off rain with a 3000mm waterhead rating and blocks harsh sun with UPF 50+ protection, while the rugged 1680D polyester Oxford transit cover keeps it protected on the move. Inside, four built-in dual-colour dimmable LED strips light your camp your way, and an integrated RTT entry hatch with waterproof zips keeps roof top tent access dry.
The Darche Freestanding 360 Awning dominates the elements — because your basecamp deserves to rule the outback!
Can the 360 be mounted on an Ford Everest and still have full access to the rear lift up door?
G'day Nathan,
Most lift back vehicles dont work with a awning the covers the rear, but you can use a occy strap of something similar to hook to the door to prevent it opening up to its full height.
Hope that helps!
