Hi Guy’s, Your thoughts on matching with a Darche 270 deg awning. I understand that the footprint is different, however, do you think that the back corner of the floor will come close to matching the back area.I understand the lengths are completely different .. just want more as a right angle corner mat for the back ..
G'day,
We haven't actually tried it, but can have a crack at best guess based on awning sizes, etc.
The Foxwing beams are 240cm, whereas the rear Eclipse 270 beams are 2m...so whilst that back corner shape is pretty good, the Foxwing mesh will be larger than Eclipse, so will just over shoot the edges abit.
If you're using walls with the Eclipse, this will be an advantage.
Hope that helps - let us know how you go with some real life feedback if you go ahead with it!
Does the fox wing 270 mesh floor mat fit under the 23 zero falcon 270 awning.
G'day Brett,
Not really, no. The Falcon 270 is a long line awning, where as the Foxwing 270 is the rear end, circular style option.
Basically if you use this ground mesh with the Falcon, you'll on have around 1/2 of your floor space covered. The awning shape is also slightly different at the rear, so it wont be a perfect fit.
Morning Snowy’s Team, In the photos for the 180 it looks like the poles go through the pat are there spigot ends on the poles for this purpose? Thanks and have a cracking day!
G'day Jez,
The holes in the Mesh Floor Save are peg points. The poles have flat bases, so won't go through these holes, but will sit on top of the matting close to the peg points.
Hi Guys, Is there a left and right side 270 awning floor? Or do you flip the floor over ?
G'day Warren,
The 270 awning floor is a symmetrical piece of mesh, so there's no left or right. You just orient the corner of the mat with the rear corner of the car, in line with your awning side, no need to flip it over!
