The Flatiron G10 is the folding cleaver pocket knife that you didn’t know you needed until now.

An unusual take on the average pocket knife, the Flatiron has a cleaver blade made from 7Cr17MoV steel with a satin finish and a textured G-10 composite handle. The Flatiron is easy to open with one hand as it has a thumb hold opening and it has a large finger choil for secure control when in use.

Does this knife "flick" out?1 answer

Can an intentional a flick of the wrist result in the blade folding out, or does this have some kind of mechanism that must first be pushed before the blade can be released from the handle? In other words, is there a mechanism to keep the blade locked into the handle when it is closed?

G'day Kyle,

There is no lock mechanism to stop you from opening the blade, however there is a fairly amount of tension on the mechanism, so you're not able to flick it out, you'll need to use both hands to open it out.
