If your summer adventures take you to the beach, then you’re going to want to protect yourself from the harsh sun with a shade like the Fiesta Umbrella from Beachkit.

The canopy of this umbrella is made from long lasting mildew resistant 420D Oxford polyester, with a silver reverse coating to deflect heat. It also has a UV protection rating of UPF 50+, which is tested by ARPANSA to block out at least 98% of UV rays.

Keeping this umbrella in place is easy as it has a self-anchoring auger to lock it into the sand for stability while you relax. It also has an oversized two-piece vented top which will also prevent this umbrella from getting carried away by a gust of wind.

And, the three-position tilt feature allows you to adjust depending on the time of the day you’re at the beach. Shade yourself from the harsh summer sun in style, with a Fiesta Umbrella from Beachkit.

Windy conditions 1 answer

Hello , does this umbrella stay put in windy conditions and does the locking mechanism to hold the umbrella in place work ?

- Brisbane (3 weeks ago)

G'day Jeff,

Great question. The locking mechanism along with the vents allow for the umbrella to handle wind to an extent. However, you always need to be wary of wind, especially with equipment like this umbrella as there is only one contact point to the ground (the pole). We always encourage people to exercise caution in windy conditions as sometimes it just that one 'stronger' gust and out it comes.
