If your summer adventures take you to the beach, then you’re going to want to protect yourself from the harsh sun with a beach shade like the Fiesta Umbrella from Beachkit.
A classic alternative to a beach tent, the canopy of this umbrella is made from a high-quality long-lasting mildew resistant 420D Oxford polyester, with a silver reverse coating to deflect heat. It also has a UV protection rating of UPF 50+, which is tested by ARPANSA to block out at least 98% of UV rays.
Keeping this umbrella in place is easy as it has a self-anchoring auger to lock it into the sand for stability while you relax. It also has an oversized two-piece vented top which will also prevent this umbrella from getting carried away by a gust of wind.
And, the three-position tilt feature allows you to adjust depending on the time of the day you’re at the beach. Shade yourself from the harsh summer sun in style, with a Fiesta Umbrella from Beachkit.

Is the height adjustable?1 answer
Or does it just lock into one position? I can see a pin in the picture so wasn’t sure
Anna - The Junction(3 years ago)
G'day Anna,
I've checked on our display model and these umbrellas only have 1 pinhole to hold the pole in place. The height adjustment can be made by pushing it further into the sand.

Does it fit1 answer
Does this umbrella fit in the oztrail picnic table?
Brooke Maiden - Blue haven (5 years ago)
G'day Brooke,
I've just tried the Fiesta Beach Umbrella with the Oztrail Picnic Table and unfortunately, they don't fit. I tried all of the models we stock and unfortunately, none of them fit. If you're wanting to use an Umbrella you'll need to choose one with a pole diameter of approximately 3cm.

Fiber glass ribs1 answer
Are the fiber glass ribs thick or thin? Just want to see the chance of the umbrella turning inside out on a windy day.
AK - Kellyville(5 years ago)
I guess there's always a chance of your umbrella inverting on a windy day, AK. However, the BeachKit Umbrellas are pretty good and have sturdy fibreglass ribs that are about 4-5mm diameter. They also pitch nice and tightly, reducing the risk of it inverting.

Windy conditions 1 answer
Hello , does this umbrella stay put in windy conditions and does the locking mechanism to hold the umbrella in place work ?
Jeff - Brisbane (6 years ago)
G'day Jeff,
Great question. The locking mechanism along with the vents allow for the umbrella to handle wind to an extent. However, you always need to be wary of wind, especially with equipment like this umbrella as there is only one contact point to the ground (the pole). We always encourage people to exercise caution in windy conditions as sometimes it just that one 'stronger' gust and out it comes.
