A cost effective and lightweight alternative to heavy duty canvas tents, the Oztrail Fast Frame Tourer 420 Cabin Tent fits eight adults comfortably in the two room tent with a large front awning allowing more space to enjoy the outdoors.
With a strong steel pole frame design with non-corrosive plastic hubs, the Fast Frame Tourer Tent maintains great stability in strong winds due to Tensile Tab™ with J-Hooks to keep the poles in position and Tensile Loops™ to provide shock absorption at the peg down and guy rope points.
Made from a heavy duty 150D RipStop Polyester on both the inner and outer, the Fast Frame Tent is waterproof thanks to the silver coated UVTex° treatment and heat taped seams on the fly and a bucket style floor to prevent moisture and water from pooling inside. Storm flaps that Velcro together on the No-See-Um mesh windows allow for great ventilation whilst keeping water out.

How is the detachable pocket suppose to attach?1 answer
We've got a detectable pocket with 5 guy ropes attached and we cannot figure out what it's suppose to attach to. Any ideas?

I've just had a chat with Oztrail, and we're pretty sure that the pocket is meant to be used to store gear (ipads, tech gear etc) on the interior roof of the tent. There should be attachment points inside the tent, so you should be able to just hook it on and you'll be good to go!Â

questio re the windows1 answer
Hi there, just wondering... looking to upgrade my (very) old tent! need a full height room, with an enclosed annex or 2nd room for all the gear like camp cupboard etc. I like the look of this one, but just wondering - with the annex up, the 'doors' look like that are just mesh - is there any privacy for the bedrooms? Just cant tell from the picture & have been searching & searching for a video re putting one up - no luck?! Regards, rachel

Hi Rachel, all the doors and windows feature both mesh and solid (or privacy) panels, the picture just shows the privacy panels open. These are relatively new, we have had them for 6-12 months and customers seem to be happy with their performance. There are some videos on the Oztrail site, these must be new as I have not seen them as yet, I'll try and get them uploaded to our website asap, in the meantime you can see them at www.oztrail.com.au/tourer450.

Hi Midge, we always approach new products with caution, but we have had the Fast Frame for about 6 months now, sold tons of them, and have had no issues with the hub. So to date, we at Snowys are confident in the durability of these parts.

Awning size please1 answer
Hiya how big is the awning and do the doors open to down to pvc floor as in the fly screen Looks like in photo there is dark strip

The awning is 1.8 metres deep Steve and runs for the width of the tent minus a bit to account for the sloped ends. I don't have an exact measurement but I estimate it at about 3 - 3.5 metres.

It's all in the fly Nicole, the tent dimensions are the same across the Cruiser and Tourer series, the difference being that the Cruiser fly is a 'cap' with open sides, whereas the Tourer fly has fully enclosed sides that offer better weather protection and warmth in the cooler months.

How fo the OzTrail fast frame tents compare to the Black Wolf Turbo Lite tents please?1 answer
We have a young family and are looking to camp in campsites and some national parks - nothing too extreme! We want something quick and easy. Thanks.

If your budget allows Rebecca, I recommend the Black Wolf Turbo Lite tents. The Oztrail Fast Frame series are made as an affordable touring tent, and at the price they are great value for money. We have a longer sales history with the Black Wolf Turbo Lite range, they are made with a stronger frame that is a simpler to pitch, and thicker more durable fabrics.
