Zempire designed the Evo Series with summer holiday camping in mind, and their Evo TL V2 Tent has plenty of room for festive sleepouts.
The open-plan design contributes to the exceptional ventilation and makes the TL easy and breezy so your tent won’t become a sauna on those hot summer days. It’s got 5 external windows, 15 ventilation points, 3 entry/exit points, and 1 main front door – also known as the awning entry/exit point. The inner is a breathable 68D, 190T fabric with the fly a 150D, 135T poly Oxford and rated at SPF 50. The floor is a durable 140gsm PE, and the fabrics have been treated with a fire retardant and UV protection, as well as being torrential rain tested and TPU tape seam sealed.
If that has got you keen, then the key features will push it to the top of your wishlist: angled beam construction for improved head height, rigidity and wind resistance, SeroLink™ frame system that attaches the air tubes directly to the fly and reduces weight and bulk, and a multi-room inner that includes zip-out dividers so you can customise your sleeping set-up and cater for the teens of the family who want a bit of privacy.
With a large front awning area and enough features to keep you counting for your whole holiday, the Evo TL V2 tent from Zempire has comfort and flexibility leading the way.

Evo vs Pro - heavy rain1 answer
I noticed that you don’t stock the Pro models (high waterhead rating) of the zempire air tents… would the Evo models hold up okay in a few days of consistent heavy coastal rain?
Morgan - Brisbane, QLD (8 months ago)
G'day Morgan,
Most tents available in Australia have an average water head rating of around 3000mm, which is more than adequate. The issue with prolonged periods of rain is how well the tent has been set up and tensioned, and if all guy ropes have been set out to support the water shedding design. The Evo series has a 6000mm waterhead rating which is far and away above the standards we generally see, as Zempire is primarily designed for use in NZ and the UK. Hope that helps!

Wall to bedroom 1 answer
Hi, is the wall to the bedroom 2 skin style (mesh and privacy)?
Robert - Melbourne, VIC(1 year ago)
G'day Robert,
I'm not 100% sure which wall you are talking about. The door into the rear section/bedroom is both solid & with mesh panel like a normal tent. There is an actual bedroom wall which divides the space into two, which you can roll it up and secure it at the back of the tent, and this is solid.

Weather Resistance1 answer
Hi! Am I correct in understanding that the Zempire Evo range has better weather resistance than the Black Wolf Turbo Lite range? I'm trying to understand the different ratings and specifications. I was happy with how the Black Wolf Turbo Lite stayed strong and dry during the recent severe storms in Ballarat, but am looking for a different shaped tent with a different room set-up. Thanks!
Jacqui - Melbourne (1 year ago)
G'day Jacqui,
Yes, the Zempire Evo tents have a waterhead rating of 6000mm versus 2000mm on the Black Wolf Turbo Lite tents.
We'd recommend listing to our June Podcast episode with Zempire regarding waterhead ratings. This has lots of great info and discussion about everything you'll need to know.
I hope this helps.

Zipped up1 answer
Does the tent zipp up to be fully enclosed without the awning set? Can the tent be zipped up on the inside enclosed area before the awning?
Benita - Rosebud, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Benita,
The forwarad facing door of the front living area has a dual-layer door that can be zipped shut for privacy and weather protection, or completely opened up for a sheltered play/living space. It would be worth having a look at the videos on the Zempire website, as they'll offer a little more information for you too.

Fully zipped1 answer
Is there a zip to have the tent fully zipped up at night. From the awning area it looks like its just the sleeping area that zips up. I wouldn't want the awning area open at night.
Benita - Rosebud, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Benita,
The awning on the Zempire Evo TL V2 is literally just a verandah. If you want to enclose this area you can do so with the Evo TL Awning Wall Set, which you can find in the "You Might Also Like" section on the product page.

Powercords1 answer
Is there access points for power cords?
Benita - Rosebud, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Benita,
Yes, the Evo TL has 3x external power cord access zips and 2x internal access zips at the top of the inner/bedroom tent. Hope that helps!

Video reviews of Zempire family tents1 answer
Just wondering if Ben is planning some video reviews of the Zempire Aero Pro and new Evo tents. Your YouTube channel has some of the best video tent reviews going - congratulations to Ben - and I would love to see your opinion on these tents and how well they suit The Australian market in terms of reliability of the air tubes in extreme heat and tent ventilation in our hot summers. In the absence of being able to physically visit brick and mortar stores to see and compare these tents the video reviews are really important in being able to compare and contrast different models in the market place. Well done on your video work and very much hope to see some reviews of these amazing looking and European styled tents soon.
John - Carnegie VIC(3 years ago)
G'day John,
We do have plans to film some videos of the new Zempire range of tents, however as you can imagine this is a fairly in-depth and long process so it does take a fair amount of planning, filming and editing time so while we do have it on our lists, it might be some time before we get a chance to do a review on each of the models. zempire.com.au also have some great videos of the inflation, pack away and general walkthroughs too if you're looking for something sooner than we can get them up.
