The Event 14 Mesh panels don't have a specific sun/shade rating so yes they're really designed to provide a bit of a barrier and keep the critters at bay.

We don't sell Boab gear sorry so I can't promise you this will work. As you say, they look pretty similar and my gut says they will work, I just don't have any way of confirming that sorry.

Yep, we think this is doable but given the clips of each wall would likely be in similar positions you may have to adjust their alignment a little along the frame.  Consequently, the 2 walls together probably won't sit properly, but certainly the frame would be strong enough to hold both at once.  Cheers :)

We don't have this shade set up in store, but from examinig pics of the mesh wall in action, it seems there might actually be some small gaps between the shelter and the wall.

We weren't aware of this, so I will make sure that the product description is updated Erica.

I’ve just had a look at the stock we have of the Event 14 mesh wall in store, and there is no door or centre zip wall on this wall.

I’ve just checked the supplier’s catalogue and website and there doesn’t appear to be another wall option that has a door or other access point that’s compatible with the Event 14.

Your best bet would be to use it with 3 walls, and leave one for access. Keep in mind this wall attaches with C-clips so that’s how it will clip to the shelter - so you could still use four but you’d have to unclip it to get in and out.

I’ve just double checked for you and the Event 14 Mesh Wall will definitely fit the Event 14 Deluxe shelter from Coleman perfectly.
