Is this a completely freestanding tent? ie does the fly and tent attach directly to the poles? 1 answer

I am looking for a tent for motorcycle touring, sometimes need to set up on roads, too hard for pegs...Thanks

- ELLENDALE, TAS(1 year ago)

Hi Phil, the tent and fly on the Roman Escape II 3P Dome Tent attach to the poles, so it can be used freestanding. However you won’t get the full use of the awning as it will flap around a bit in the wind if it’s not secured. If you’re in for a particularly wet or windy night you might want to avoid setting it up on the road if possible - just to be on the safe side.

does this tent have hooks or sleeves1 answer

Hi Pat, I assume you are referring to the attachment method for the inner to the poles, which in this case is done with plastic 'C' clips. I hope this answers your question.
