Bit of a pain

After doing some research, we chose this ensuite. Compared to our Instant Coleman Tent which takes 2 minutes to put up, this took us a good half hour and some. Heaps of poles, clips, ropes and its appears they put the incorrect parts compared to the images and description in the instructions (so a manufacturers error) and therefore it did not stand comfortably. the internal shelf is pretty good though.

Sorry you had difficulties with this shelter Melanie, it is one of the newer shower tents from Oztrail, and this type of feedback is highly valued by both Snowys and Oztrail. If there is anything we can do to help or rectify the issues you are having, then please get in touch with us. ~ Ben

It takes a little while to set up and the instructions for this new model don't seem to be available yet. On the positive side - very roomy and a lot more substantial than the instant pop up ensuite.

Good, but fiddly to set up

Plenty of features - a towel rail, clothes & shampoo shelf, attachment point for shower handpiece. It is a tad fiddly to set up, but that might just be a matter of doing a few more times. Pretty good quality. Pretty sturdy with guy ropes.

Excellent. Love the details.

Love this shower tent. Used a friends recently. We will certainly be purchasing this soon. Love the details, like a place to put toiletries, dry sleeve to put your clothes and towel into. An option to hold toilet paper and much more. Def worth paying a little extra for a little more peace of mind and comfort. Very easy and quick to assemble and dismantle.

Is there a port for a 12v shower to pass through?1 answers

There sure is, at the rear left corner there's a velcro opening for your shower hose to come through, and a hook to hang the shower head.

How is the floor attached?1 answers

G'day John - It looks to hook into place in all four corners. Really easy to remove. Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

Can this tent support a solar shower bag (19l)?1 answers

- Montmorency(9 months ago)
Hi Michael, most shower tents won't handle a solar shower very well. They design them with hooks but most of the tents we have seen are not strong or sturdy enough to reliably hold a 20L shower. Either the frames start to twist or the hooks tear out of the ceiling. They are really only designed to support a shower head.

How hard is this toilet tent to put up? 1 answers

Just wondering what is involved in putting it up and how long it takes? Also time to take down and fit back in the bag.

- NARACOORTE, SA(10 months ago)
There is nothing particularly difficult with pitching this shelter Wendy, steel poles on the sides slot together and join to fibreglass poles in the roof with plastic shoulders. The inner tent then clips to the frame. I wouldn't say you needed more than 10 minutes to set up or pull down the tent, and as long as you roll the tent section up neatly, fitting it back in the bag is easy.
