You know those blue foam sleeping mats you often see strapped to a hiking pack or in a lightweight camp kit? The Earth Mat Giga from OZtrail is like one of those but better because it’s more luxurious!
This mat can be used by itself as an ultralight sleeping pad or use it to add an extra layer of insulation to your existing camp map on a cold night in your tent. It's 20mm extra thick closed-cell foam construction allows for millions of microscopic air bubbles to insulate your body, with a laminated coating for extra protection.
Whether you use it for yoga, sport, or to work out at the gym, OZtrail’s Earth Mat Giga comes with a convenient carry cover, and at 200cm x 60cm it provides a decent amount of padding for all sorts of activities.

Is it waterproof or will it suck in water
G'day Brian,
Oztrail does not provide a waterproof rating on this product but a quick Google search suggests that its material, EVA Foam, is water-resistant.
What is the R value of this mat? Thanks
G'day Matt,
The Giga Mat bedrolls haven't been tested for an R-Value.
Generally, they won't provide much insulation.
