It's not the lightest walking pole on the market, but what it lacks in bells and whistles when compared to its more expensive rivals in the market, the Leki Eagle trekking poles make up for in the outstanding value for money it represents.
Made with an extremely robust and durable alloy and still featuring the quality Super Lock system, and ever durable Leki Carbide tips, the Leki Eagle delivers performance and durability that rivals any pole on the market at a price that will blow your socks off.
The handle is plastic with grooves that help keep your hands free of sweat, along with an adjustable strap and the same safety release found on all Leki poles, the Eagle will provide all the functionality an average bushwalker demands with durability that will by far outlast the less expensive poles in the market.

Rubber tips1 answer
I have just purchased these poles but they came with no rubber tips. Do you use the poles without them ??
Deb - Hoppers crossing (6 years ago)
G'day Deb,
The Leki Eagle Walking Poles don't come with rubber tips but they can be bought separately. If you're hiking off road, you're best off not using the rubber tips. The only time you need a rubber tip is if you're hiking on bitumen or cement, or if you're in a National Park that requires them for environmental reasons. Areas like Machu Picchu now ask that you use rubber tips to protect the trails, as they've been walked on so much in recent years.

Length of pole?1 answer
Can you put down how long the full length of the pole is please? Thanks!

G'day Anonymous,
I've just taken my trusty tape measure to the shop floor to measure the fully extended length of the Leki Eagle Walking Poles. They each measure to 145cm when fully extended.
