Like being able to recharge

I use this for a lamp and it is great, I like being able to recharge it and not have to continually buy batteries. Great price and fast postage from Snowys as always.

The pro's and con's

1. Cheaper than constantly shelling out for alkaline batteries
2. Plug it in anywhere you have a power supply of 12v or 250v
3. Never run out of power In the middle of nowhere.
1. Not as bright on full. Fully charged it's only 5.6v and alkaline's are 6.6v
2. They last a lot less time than alkaline's. Probably due to the 1v difference in the battery chemistry.
3. Oh so slow to charge..6v 500mah car charge or 300mah (240v) it's no rocket.

Happy with this battery

This works a treat. Charge it up on 240v at home then recharge at the campsite as necessary on 12v. Use this with the fan/light, great in the tent on warm nights.

Compatibility with Coleman LED Duo Battery Lantern1 answer

I've purchased the Coleman LED Duo Battery Lantern and will like to confirm this is compatible with it. It says the required battery pack is stock code 2000002672 and/or 2000003287? Thank you so much

- Perth(10 months ago)

G'day Lesley,

There are a couple of different versions of the Coleman LED Duo Lanterns, if your lantern specifies that it's a CPX 6 lantern, then it will work with the Coleman CPX 6 Rechargeable Battery. If it doesn't specify this, then it won't work I'm sorry to say. It should be fairly obvious on your lantern as to whether or not it's a CPX 6 lantern.

Does this product include the rechargeable batteries, thanks1 answer

- MOUNT TORRENS, SA(2 years ago)

Hi Lee, it might be a little confusing in the picture because the shape, but the whole unit is actually a battery. The CPX6 Rechargeable Battery is compatible with all Coleman CPX6 products, you just charge it up and then the entire fits into the bottom of the lantern.

coleman rechargeable lantern batteries1 answer

Can you overcharge and damage the batteries ? Ta!

- MOUNT GRAVATT EAST, QLD(3 years ago)
These batteries will gradually lose performance over time Clifton, but you can't damage them through overcharging. The quickest way to destroy these batteries is to leave them stored at a depleted charge for extended periods. The best way to maintain their life is to give them a charge before storage, and pull it out to maintain the charge in the battery every few months.
