The comfortable grip, easy and secure adjustment system, and sturdy construction are what make the Leki Corklite Speed Lock 2 a great set of trekking poles for the avid hiker.

The shaft is constructed from Aluminium HTS making it lightweight, stable and robust enough to withstand life on the trail. Featuring a Aergon CorTec grip that has vent ports, you’ll be able to keep a firm grip – even if you’ve worked up a sweat on the trail.

Adjustment is easy, thanks to the Speed Lock 2 system which allows you to adjust it by flicking the lock out, adjusting the pole to your preferred length, and then pushing it back down to secure it. The adjustable security straps are super lightweight and breathable and will take a bit of the pressure off your wrists on your trek. The short flex tips will provide plenty of grip on nearly any surface, so you can use them confidently on all kinds of terrain.

For support and balance on the trail, make sure you take along a pair of Corklite Speed Lock 2 hiking poles from Leki.

I love using Leki poles

I have done a lot of bushwalking and have used cheap poles and good quality poles of another brand - now I have Leki poles.
These poles are the best I have used - they are very comfortable with good straps, handles, and the top which fits perfectly into the palms of my hands. They are also strong and durable - a great all round pole, I can't fault them.

My 1st Trekking Poles

After much research on the net.. I decided to acquire the Leki Corklite Trekking Poles and at a great price from Snowys... The poles have plenty of adjustment and the handles are very comfy.. Look forward to using them on my next outback adventure in May 2018...

First poles

After researching poles these came highly recommended. Snowy's price was excellent. They are very easy to adjust, if slipping. Handles are very comfortable, agree with prior review on the tops.

best poles ever

Upgraded from a cheap carbon fibre pair, What a difference! Proven on Heysen and Larapinta trails without any issues. Great having a a strong robust pair of poles that provide solid support. Really like the rounded tops on the handles that make downhills a lot more comfortable. Wrist straps rinse out easily in water to keep down the sweat and grime build up. Cost a little more but certainly get what you pay for.

Rubberised tips for slippery surfaces1 answer

Are the metal tips replaceable with rubberised tips? If so how to I procure and fit them? Thanks

- Kadina(1 month ago)

G'day Colin,

The metal tips can be covered with a rubber stopper that you can view by clicking here. They fit by simply pressing them firmly onto the ends of the pole over the metal tips. That way if you want to switch back to the metal tips you can just pull the rubber stopper off.
