I’m tall & thin & sat in a few styles of these GCI rockers. The Stowaway was comfortable & a deep seat better than the festival & Puff rocker. I haven’t sat in this style but wanted to know if the dimensions were similar to the stowaway. I realize the frames are different.
G'day Cathi,
We dont stock the Stowaway sorry, so it will be really hard for us to compare - so many specific dimensions to consider when looking at the seat specifically.
We dont have access to all of those dimensions on the Stowaway, but I've just dont abit of Googling and found the following info:
"The Stowaway is designed for maximum compactness when folded, 35% smaller than standard rockers, making it ideal for travel and tight storage spaces. The Comfort Pro, while still portable, offers a larger, more comfortable seat with cloth armrests and a slightly reclined position, making it a good option for extended relaxation."
Hi, I am trying to decide between the Comfort Pro Rocker XL and the Darche off ya rocker. I see the location and type of rocking mechanism is different but wondering if they feel vastly different or is one easier to rock than the other? Thanks!
G'day Katy,
The Darche chair bounces more than rocks - sort of like the famous Ikea Poang chairs.
The orange bracket on the base of the chair frame is a flex point, so the chair bounces/rocks with abit of momentum as opposed to actually rocking.
On the other hand the GCI rockers use gas struts, and give you a full range rocking motion more similar to a traditional rocking chair.
You cant lock them off in any position though, so if you want to stay reclined, your feet will hold your position.
They definately dont feel the same, I guess it would depend on what sort of experience you're looking for.
