Can you buy the hotplate & grill only? I already have the firepit (450mm) but would be interested in getting the hotplate and grill as an add-on accessory.

No, you can't sorry.
The dimensions of the Gasmate firepit are slightly different from other ones that look to be the same style eg. 23Zero, Darche, Snowypeak, Kings, etc...so I don't believe they would be directly compatible at any rate.
