The EPE Cocoon Micro Sleeping bag does pack down to a similar size as the Roman Palm Visa but that is not the compressed size. As my colleague Tim mentioned in the Q&A for the Palm Visa, he experimented with the sleeping bag and was able to compress the Palm Visa to approximately 24cm long. I was able to compress the EPE Cocoon Micro down to about 32cm in length. I hope this helps.

Yes, you can zip two c0coon sleeping bags together, just make sure you purchase 1 x left zipper and 1 x right zipper.

The Explore Planet Earth Cocoon Micro Sleeping Bag has a zip down one side of the bag and across the foot so you can certainly unzip the bag to use a blanket.

The EPE Cocoon Micro Sleeping Bag (0'C) and the Palm Visa Sleeping Bag (0'C) are pretty similar as you indicate. They have the same comfort temperature and pack to a similar size, both are a great option with nearly identical features. The EPE is a clearance model so if you wanted to go for that one jump in quick!
