Love the idea of being able to use it like a rug while sitting outside as well as for sleeping but can imagine spilling cup of tea, chocolate etc on it. Can you wash it? Can you wash in a washing machine?. Can it be tumbled dried? Rough guide to drying times on a clothes line? Will washing it impact much upon its performance? Also I have an exped down mattress. I assume it would also work well with that,? So I could use me silk sleeping bag liner on top of my exped down mat, with this sea to summit quilt on top? I am someone who doesn’t like the confined feeling of selling bags.

G'day Jennifer,
The care instructions are: Handwash only in 30ºc, using Down Wash - not detergents, tumble dry on low. No machine washing or dry cleaning. I'm not sure about dry times I'm sorry, but would definitely recommend using dryer balls.
In terms of use with an EXPED mat, these quilts can be used with any mat, you can only use the wrap around function on tapered hiking style mats.
