This classic and hearty meal is a winner. Perfect in a wrap for dinner or a hot lunch or serve it with egg for a spicy breakfast, the Chilli Con Carne from Go Native is a versatile base for many camping meals.
A mouth-watering dish that isn't freeze-dried or dehydrated, instead, this meal is made the same way you would cook at home. It's then sealed airtight in a process called 'retort packaging' to keep the moisture, flavour and texture within whilst giving it an extended shelf life without refrigeration and making it ideal for camping and hiking.
The Go Native Chilli Con Carne is delicious cold or is easily reheated by simply dropping the whole sachet is a pot of boiling water for a couple of minutes, tear off the top and enjoy straight from the packet, or add some mashed potato for a complete dinner.

Hi is this very hot/spicy or fairly mild? I love this dish usually but can’t handle much chilli.
G'day Mel,
There's actually no-one here at the moment who has eaten this particular meal, so I cant get some real-life feedback for you from the Snowys team, but we have a review from a customer who states "spice is ok for spice novices".
Sounds like you should be fine - hope that helps!
So I tasted it and with flavorsome but mild. Winner for me!
Thanks for the follow up Mel!
Hey just wondering how many people with will feed
G'day Kadin,
The Go Native Chilli Con Carne is 250g, and designed to serve 1 person, however, if you added some extra vege and served it with rice you could probably serve two people.
Hi, How much shelf life on these meals?
G'day Mike,
The Go Native range has a 2 year expiry from date of packing. From manufacture packing to on the shelf at a retailer can be anywhere up to 6mths, so shelf life once it gets to you will be around 18 months. Hope that helps.
