G'day Jacqui,

Your question has left us scratching our heads, so we've given Coleman a call but because of the time of year, they may take a couple of days to get back to us.

So for now just hang tight, and we'll get back to you as soon as we get word from them!

G'day Jacqui,

I'm so sorry about the wait, this seems to be a mystery that even (several people) at Coleman can't get to the bottom of - it must be a feature that was added by Coleman USA which may explain why no-one from the Australian office knows about it.

Hi all,

We've just had a chat with our Coleman rep while he was in store, and he's finally given us an answer! The attachment points are for the elastic cords (that are available in the US) to go across the top where you can store dry goods like a picnic blanket etc.
