Does this power pack always stay on. Even if only a very low current is being drawn eg to power a small LED light. Most power banks auto shut-off when the device it is powering or charging stops or drawing a current or draws low current.

G'day Ed,
If you have something connected to the Power Bank it will draw power, if there's nothing connected it shouldn't use any power. It would only turn off if the PowerBank can't supply the power needed anymore and runs out of battery. I haven't heard of these shutting off when there is a low current draw so you should be good!

how to charge1 answer
Hi all, interested in getting this power bank however I need to know if it can be charged with a solar panel. I am thinking of the companion 21watt solar panel as I am about to do a 15 day hike and there will be no power. Any help appreciated thanks Michael.

G'day Michael,
Yes the Companion 21W Solar Charger will work to charge the BioLite power bank, it will connect to the USB port on the panel and be able to top it up.
