Light, portable and with a taller back for leaning back in – with the Chair Two from Helinox, you don’t have to compromise on comfort and practical features.
Balancing a taller back, wider width and a compact packed size – the Chair Two sits between the Sunset and Chair One designs from Helinox. The frame is made from lightweight yet sturdy TH72M alloy by DAC and is linked together with elastic shock cord, which helps it self-locate into the strong nylon hubs for an easy setup. The Chair Two has a weight rating of 145kg despite weighing just 1.07kg, with a compact packed size of just 42cm long.
The carry bag doubles as a neck pillow so you can roll up a jumper or towel and keep your head nice and comfortable. Enjoy being able to lean back, without sacrificing on lightweight portability with Chair Two from Helinox.
Where are they made
G'day Barry,
It's a multinational effort, with the fabric components being made in Vietnam and the frames in Korea.
You have quoted the packed length, both in your web page and in your video, as 42cm. However the Helinox website says that it is 46cm. The difference is important as I need to know if it will fit in my motorcycle panniers or not. Could you please confirm the correct dimensions. Cheers.
G'day Craig,
I've grabbed one out of our new shipment to check this out for you. The physical storage bag itself measures 46cm but there's abit of room there. The length of the collapsed frame, which is the largest packed part, is 42cm. Because the bag and chair sling are squishy, you can fold the end of the bag in abit and get that packed length shorter if that makes sense?
For a situation like squishing it into a pannier bag, I'd be confident for you to work off 42cm.
