Does the s1 answer
Hi there. Will this slide accomodate my CFX50 when the fridge is still in its cover? Also, I have viewed the pictorial installation manual online which appears to suggest 10 screw fixing points. Have I got that right? I plan to create a mounting bracket to fit to the rails in the rear of my VW Multivan, and was hoping to anchor in approx. 4 points rather than 10. Many thanks, R
Rainer - Elwood, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Rainer,
Yes, this slide will suit the Dometic CFX50 model, and can be used with the cover. There are 10 mounting screw points, we'd recommend utilising all of them, as if you use less than this, there is a risk your slide won't be adequately secured and could cause harm in an accident.

Tie downs vs Bolts1 answer
To hold the fridge and the slide securely in place when fully extended, does it need both the tie downs and bolts to secure it to the cargo floor or will it work with tie downs only and if so will that be secure?
Evo - VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Evo,
You'll want to make sure that it is securely bolted down to the floor using the supplied bolts. The fridge should then be attached to the slide using both the bolts and straps to ensure they are secure, and there is no risk of harm to the vehicle, occupants, or fridge itself.

Does this fit a dometic cff451 answer
Has anyone bought this for their CFF45. I think I might have 5mm spare but not sure?? Thanks
Jon - Brookvale, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Jon,
Your CFF 45 will fit on this slide, but it won't lock into the footwells, and you'll need to use tie-downs through the handles to attach to anchor to the slide itself.

Fridge slide1 answer
Will this fridge slide skill lock if mounted into the floor of a ford transit van
Sandy - Kalgoorlie, WA(3 years ago)
G'day Sandy,
As long as the slide is mounted in a way that allows the slide to extend all the way out and back in, then it should lock in place without any worries.

Would this slide also be suitable for an Engel 60 litre fridge (MT60FP)P). What is the internal measurements of this slide? Thanks1 answer
Have a new Engel fridge 34kg weight.
Marcus - Sydney(5 years ago)
G'day Marcus,
No, this slide won't be suitable for your MT60FP. The one you're after is the Engel 560 Slide for 60L Fridge. Hope that helps.
