Do you sell replacement/extra liners for Sorel Caribou boots?Good to have an extra pair of liners as you can leave one set to dry out while you wear the other.

G'day Adrian,
Unfortunately, we're not able to get the liners for the Caribou Boots here in Australia. However, we believe they are available for purchase in the USA through the Sorel website.

Is one able to attach cramp-ons to these boots? Are the boots suitable for trekking through snow?1 answer

G'day Digby,
I've just spoken to our resident mountaineering expert and he has confirmed that yes you can fit a C1 crampon to the Sorel Caribou. He indicated that this combination would suit North American / European subzero snow trekking. If you're planning to snow trek in Australia he indicated you might get super hot feet in these due to the milder conditions so you would be better off with a good pair of waterproof hiking boots, warm socks and the same C1 style crampons.

Camille Bauer - KAMBAH/Canberra (7 years ago)
G'day Camille,
We only sell the Sorel Caribou boots in full sizes so I'd say if you'd normally wear a 10.5us you'd be best to look at the 11us just to make sure there's enough room around the toes.

G'day Tania,
The Sorel Caribou would be a better-suited boot over the Merrell Murren for what you are looking to do. It's got more traction in the sole and provides much better protection against the snow, both in regards to moisture and warmth.
At the moment, we have stock available in the Sorel Caribou in both the Men's and Women's sizes you are after. If you'd like to put any boots on hold until you get here on Saturday, please don't hesitate to call us on 1300 914 007 and we can do that for you.
