We would not recommend putting anything supper hot on the surface without a tea towell or chopping block underneath just in case.

One of our team members measured the distance between the table top and the underside of the shelf at 18 cm.

You won't be able to with most camp stoves, unfortunately, as the raised shelf cuts off a lot of bench space, and leaves about 30cm for the stove to fit.
As most stoves have a raised lif that acts as a back splash, they'll be too large.
Have a look at the Coleman Deluxe Camp Kitchen as an alternative that will have plenty of room for everything you should need.

The space under the table, clear of the legs is 40cm x 80cm.

Unfortunately these cupboards aren't compatible with the Camp Kitchen. The attachment bars are a fixed length and designed to only fit the 4-foot tables.

The Cupboards are unfortunately too large to fit under the Camp Kitchen. The 4-foot tables are quite a bit longer than the Camp Kitchen, and the cupboards have been designed to specifically fit under the 4-foot tables.
