Roman's Big Man 3D Sleeping Bag features a three dimensional design that provides consistent inner sleeping space to avoid cold spots.

Its hoodless design makes it a great all-round camping bag which can be opened up as a doonah courtesy of full length twin zippers.

Finished off with a flannelet lining on the foot area for extra warmth, and a hidden accessory pocket, the Big Man Sleeping Bag boasts Roman quality and is a steal at the Snowys price.

Spacious and Warm

Great sleeping bag - plenty of room. Used it zipped up when it was about 4 degrees outside and it kept me warm and used it unzipped as a blanket with a sheet under it when it was about 15 degrees outside. Worked well in both cases.

what does 3D mean?2 answers

I assume there is a bottom piece you lie on and a top piece you cover yourself with - what's 3D abut that?

G'day Aileen,

The Roman Big Man 3D Sleeping Bag features is a three-dimensional design that provides consistent inner sleeping space to avoid cold spots.

G'day Aileen,

Sorry - I wasn't sure if you'd read the blurb as this is all the information we have. The '3D' is really just a marketing word. In terms of shape, this sleeping bag is like every other. The 3D design is what Roman use to describe their feature of offering consistent inner sleeping space to avoid cold spots.

Does this sleeping bag have a hood as I'd prefer not. We will be opening this up to use as doona in our swag1 answer

- PORT KENNEDY, WA(1 year ago)

Hi Donnah, confirmed, there is no hood on the Roman Bigman 3D.

Zipper location1 answer

I need a bag this shape with the zipper on the left hand side when laying on my back. Is this the one? When looking at bags what should I be looking for to identify such a bag? Thanks.

- ASHFIELD, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Greg, the Roman Big Man 3d Sleeping Bag is available either with a left or right zip. If you would like to order one with a left zip, please give me a call on 1300 914 007. To give you some idea, most general camping sleeping bags have left & right models available.

Does "full length twin zippers" mean it has two zips, one down each side?1 answer

- ASHFIELD, NSW(3 years ago)
The twin zips for this particular bag simply refer to the fact that the zipper pull tab is operational from both the inside and the outside of the bag (the tab swivels) and it has a foot zip at the base. This makes it a versatile bag as you can ventilate your feet separately or unzip both zippers to create a blanket.

Can two of these be zipped together to form a double?1 answer

- Gymea(3 years ago)
Hi Mick, yes two of these bags can be zipped together to make a double. The non-hooded versions would need to be laid one on top of the other rather than side by side to be joined.
