Probably the most useful size in the Tatonka Barrel Bag range. Enough volume for extended stays, yet small and versatile enough for everyday use with tough materials and stowable backpack straps.

Made with robust and waterproof tarpaulin material with extra padding and a layer of Textreme polyester over the base for extra durability, the Barrel bags are the most indestructible bag in the Tatonka range.

A zippered mesh pocket on the back of the lid along with two interior accessory pockets help keep things organised, along with rubberised grab handles on each end and a top carry handle make for easy handling.

Would this size be suitable for airline carry on?

G'day Naomi,

You'd need to verify this with the airline you plan to fly with, however, this size is generally larger than airlines will accept for Domestic and International carry on luggage.

D fasteners1 answer

I can see d fasteners in the the picture. Just wondering if these would be strong enough to strap the bag down onto an adventure motorcycle luggage rack.

G'day Peter,

The D fasteners are fairly robust, and can generally handle a fair amount of tension, however, if you're likely to experience corrugations they might not last the distance. I'd recommend using the handles at either end of the bag on the top, or the four webbing side handles, below where the Barrel Bag M is on the side.
