Is this sleeping bag machine washable?
G'day Christine,
Great question! Yes, you can wash sleeping bags, but only in a Front Loader on a gentle cycle or ideally in a large commercial machine at the laundromat. The larger the machine the better as it ensures more water circulates through the bag for an effective clean. Make sure its unzipped or at least inside out, plus using a mild detergent like a wool mix will also help to preserve your bag over time.
I've seen this in store at another store and it's a +5. Is this one on your website definitely -5?
G'day Amy,Â
I've just checked the stock we have downstairs, and you're right - the Back Country Jumbo Sleeping Bag is rated for +5 degrees. I'm sorry about the confusion there Amy, but we've updated the product page so the correct details should be live right now.Â
Hi there Snowys. This sleeping bag still appears in the 0 to -10 degree search option
G'day Sue,
Sorry about that error, thanks so much for letting us know about that. I'll make sure that someone on the web team updates that as soon as possible.
If I want to join two together do I buy one left and one right hand zip bag?
G'day Amy,Â
That's right - if you purchase a Back Country Jumbo Sleeping Bag in a Left and Right option, then you'll be able to zip them together.Â
