Bought this pack a few months ago after doing some research on this size pack, it has all the bell's and whistles of more expensive packs Snowys has the best price available ive been able to find Australia wide (they also include free shipping )😆😆,pack has good frame, built in rain cover ,hydration pocket. The list goes on.So if the pack lasts it will be outstanding value.

Well priced, great apart from delaminating waterproofing

Surprisingly well built. We bought two and have tracked around Europe and Bali (twice) with these so far and the only thing we could criticise is that the waterproofing treatment on the inside of the "extendable sack bit" at the top of the pack (not the top/cover but the drawstring extension bit at the top of the main body of the pack) has peeled and come away. We've had to buy a product to reapply the waterproofing after only 9 months or so.
The bag itself has good dimensions with well thought out pockets and durable zips. It's light too, which is important to those of us who travel for long periods with 7kg or less. The bag fits in all overhead compartments in all the planes we've been on so far.
If you're looking for a good travel pack that will do all your carry-on and lightweight travel requirements at a cheap price, this fits the bill.

Volume vs size1 answer

Hi, This pack has larger dimensions than the Crux 40, but is only 35 litres. Does this pack infact carry more? Thanks

It's a bit hard to work out volume from external dimensions David. The volume of a pack is actually calculated with foam balls that are then tipped out into a calibrated cylinder to indicate volume. The larger dimensions on the B-Lite is most likely due to the harness being more three dimensional with an airspace between the users back and the pack. The harness on the Crux only has padding between the user and cargo, therefore the external dimensions do not include any 'unused' air space. I hope I have explained things clearly, let me know if you need further clarification.
