Hi, just wondering about the hip width on this bag as it says extra room for women's body shape, but the comparison between this one and the normal version says it's actually 6cm narrower at the hips? wondering if you might be able to shed some light on this? thanks
G'day Emily.
Great question - Although the hip measurement is 140cm, the womens Ascent is designed to be narrower at the shoulders and wider in the hip-to-knee area compared to the unisex bag. The womens range is designed to provide thermal effciency by preventing the compression of insulation in common sleeping positions, like side or figure-four sleeping. Hope this helps!
