Luxurious and lightweight, with a Sea To Summit Aeros Pillow you can take a touch of extravagance on any trekking or travel adventure.
Made with a soft 50D polyester cover wrapped around a TPU bladder with a bit of synthetic insulation in between combined with a countoured shape that delivers a comfortable sleep wherever you may lay your head.
A multi function valve facilitates easy inflation and rapid deflation for pack down into a stuff sack that fits into the palm of your hand.
Similar to another review of this item, after just two trips one of my aeros pillows no longer holds air. I too unpicked the lining and found that the interior was disintegrating and won't hold air. It is not repairable because there are so many splits in the bladder it looks as though it was attacked by a wild animal even though the cover is pristine. I can't identify any usage conditions that could explain its condition it just seems to be of poor quality. I discovered the problem with my first pillow after already ordering the second for my son to use on a trip, but I will not be buying another. Otherwise the pillows are light and comfortable but at this price they need to last much longer.
Thank you for posting this - it's super helpful. I'll be sharing both yours and Keith's review below with Sea to Summit (in case they don't already know) of occasional puncture issues with the inner.

My wife and I go motorcycle camping alot and the compact size along with comfort works well.Recommend to anyone- particularly where space is an issue. You simply vary the pressure to suit individual preferences, only takes a few seconds to inflate as well.(3-4 breaths)
I already own a Sea to Summit Aeros Pillow, and decided to get a second one for my wife.
comfortable enough for an inflatable pillow, and super compact. mine has gone through a fair bit of abuse and it still holds its shape, but I do notice you have to top up the air every three to four days.
First rate, easy to use, comfortable and folds to a very small lightweight package.
Perfect for motorcycle travel.
My first night using the Aeros pillow was an unexpected luxury. My second hike with the Aeros went a little differently when I discovered my pillow could not hold a single breath of air. I unpicked the lining to see if I could do a simple running repair, only to discover that the air bladder looked more like swiss cheese than an inflatable bag. This was surprising as I am not rough with my gear - my rough neck the next morning however, was not surprising.
Oh that would've been so frustrating, I'm sorry to hear that Keith!
If you have a free minute, please give us a call (1300 914 007) - we'd really like to be able to fix the issue, plus we'd like to know more about how it happened. Laine :)
I was looking for a compact pillow and bought the Aeros. Wasnt sure about inflatable pillows due to previous failures but this one is great. Have been using it for many weeks now on bike tours, sea kayak and walking trips. I like it so much it is now also my pillow in my camper.
Easy inflation, comfortable outer layer, compact size for storage. Would definitely recommend.
I'm a side-sleeper - will the regular be fine, or is the large a better bet?
I'm not sure whether either size will make a difference in terms of being a side sleeper. I guess if you move a bit during the night as you roll onto your side, the large will be a better option.
