Light and luxurious

Great pillow. Super small and light. This was a upgrade from my slept inflating pillow which I never quiet felt comfortable using. The savings in terms if pack volume is just amazing. Takes about 3 full breaths to blow up fully. Well designed and very soft. Also fits nicely inside my sleeping bag.

Just perfect!

This pillow is perfect! I suffer from narcolepsy and need to take frequent naps throughout the day. This pillow is a great help. It's small enough to fit in my work bag, sports bag or handbag and I take it with me everywhere I go. It's super comfortable and has been a welcome luxury on many multi day hikes as well. The exterior is very soft and even after many years of use it still holds its air as if it were new. I'm planning to buy another just so that I don't have to keep switching it between bags!

Started deflating

Overall this wasn't the right pillow for me - too small, however the biggest disappointment is that the pillow started deflating after 40 nights of camping. So I bought the Sea to Summit large ultralight pillow - perfect size and lighter

G'day Serena,

Thanks for posting a review on the Aeros Pillow, although I'm sorry to hear that it was starting to deflate. If you have sec, please give us a call (1300 914 007), we'd like to know more about the issue - as it could be covered under warranty. Laine :)

Suitable for winter?1 answer

Newbie on cold weather camping. I stayed away from airbed because what I've read about cold air seeping through so bought a self inflating mat. Applying the same principle, will this pillow be cold although it is on top of a sleeping bag and on top of a mattress?

The same principle can be applied here Gareth, a pillow filled with foam will insulate better than an air filled one, but given you are using it within a warm environment i.e. on top of your may and inside your sleeping bag, then I would personally place a bigger focus on weight and packed size.

This being said, this Aeros pillow with the brushed polyester cover will offer some insulation over an above the ultralight models without the cover, so it's a good balance of all things we've mentioned here.
