The Extra Comfort Single Mattress from Aerobed is a comfy and easy to use bedding choice that provides a bit of extra luxury when staying at a powered site, or as a spare bed when guests come to stay.
Quick and easy to use, this airbed is made from durable PVC and comes with a soft touch mattress cover for protection. It features an in-built air pump, which inflates it in just 45 seconds, so it’s easy to set up an extra bed when you need one. It has a wand which allows you to adjust the firmness to your liking even when you’re lying down, while the quadra coil construction gives you support while you snooze.
When it’s time to deflate it and pack it away, it has a Whoosh® valve which makes the whole process fuss-free, and it comes with a carry bag so you can protect it while it’s in storage.

What is the height inflated? 1 answer
Is it as high as the double double quick bed by coleman?
Annie - York(5 years ago)
G'day Annie,
I've just double-checked and the Aerobed Extra Comfort Single is 30cm high. The Double High Quickbed by Coleman is 45cm, so a little higher than the Aerobed Extra Comfort Range.

What size inverter would you need to run the pump1 answer
IE How many watts?
Francis Boyd - Canterbury(6 years ago)
G'day Francis,
You'd be looking at around 150Watts so depending on whether you're wanting to run it from a vehicle or a battery most inverters should work ok with the Aerobed Extra Comfort.

Can this bed be inflated without power ie with an air compressor run from a car.1 answer
looking to use it at an unpowered site
Kathy - Worongary(6 years ago)
G'day Kathy,
The Aerobed Extra Comfort Single Mattress & Pump will need 240V to inflate using the inbuilt pump, so if you're needing something for an unpowered site we'd suggest the Aerobed Active Single Airbed that has a rechargeable pump.

Suitable for camp site1 answer
Is this suitable for camping - is it tough enough? Also does the bed need to stay plugged in to power all the time to maintain inflation?
sarah - 4877(6 years ago)
G'day Sarah,
The Aerobed Extra Comfort Single Mattress & pump will only need a power point to inflate the mattress, once it has been inflated the valve will keep the mattress inflated. These mats are suitable for camping, but we'd always recommend using a ground sheet to help protect the mattress from any possible punctures.

Deflation1 answer
Does the pump reverse to actively suck all the air out of the bed when deflating
George C - Doncaster(6 years ago)
G'day George,
You can use the quick release valve to deflate your mattress but for most compact storage, close the valve and hold the deflate button on the control wand. This expels every last bit of air from inside the air bed for compact storage.
