Compact, hardy and built especially for high-performance activities, the Actik headlamp from Petzl is the ideal illuminator for mountaineering, running, hiking and backpacking.

With 300 lumens of brightness, two beam patterns, and multiple lighting modes the Actik is the perfect pal to accompany you on all your demanding outdoor activities. There’s nothing worse than turning on your light, only to have it burn your eyes and ruin your night vision. The red lighting option on the Actik will allow you to get up in the middle of the night for a toilet break or midnight snack without hurting your eyes or blinding your fellow trekkers.

Night visibility is also made easier as the headband is reflective and in emergencies you can blow on the attached whistle if you need a helping hand. The Actik has two power options: you can use it with the three standard batteries it comes with or you can purchase a separate rechargeable battery.  If you’ve got a passion for outdoor sports, then the Actik from Petzl will provide you with all the lighting options for all your active pursuits.

  • Takes 3 x AAA batteries (included) or optional rechargeable single battery

Easy to use, good features and great quality

Found it invaluable around the campsite. It's comfortable, very good quality and not too heavy for the pack.

Fabulous lightweight allrounder

As always Petzl have made a high quality product. I have used it for night time trail running where I was alone in the pouring rain for long stretches in a very dark forest. It performed brilliantly. The red lamp is great for rummaging in the tent at night and not blinding my partner and the battery life has been great. I highly recommend this lamp.

We're having trouble getting the Core Rechargeable battery pack at the moment, we hope to have some later this year. Glad you love your headtorch Steve. ~ Ben.

Seeing the light

Bought this to replace a much older petzl. Boy, LED tech has come a long way.
And great service as always from Snowys.

Rechargeable battery1 answer

Can I get the rechargeable battery? How much is it?

- Woodcroft(7 months ago)

G'day Dave,

As far as we understand it, the Petzl Core battery is not available to us yet. We'd love to get our hands on them, but we don't have a solid timeframe on their availability so you may have to just keep your eye out for it in the near future.
