This is our first portable toilet and we are really happy with it. Very easy to operate and the pressurised flush system is a great idea. The waste is contained well, no smells, the flush works well and the indicator on the front is very handy.

The pressurised flush tank sounds like such a great idea, but in reality is just a pain to use. The 'pressure' isn't held for any length of time and certainly not long enough to be pumped up before retiring at night and still be usable a few hours later. The simple bellows or piston of others only require a couple of pumps to flush whereas this requires 15-20 (not quiet) pumps to re-pressurise.

G'day Jill,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issues with your new toilet.

As the toilet isn't really designed to hold pressure over extended periods of time, the flush process should happen all at once. However, it doesn't seem right that you have to pump 15-20 times to generate enough pressure. We'd like to know more and hopefully we can help - if you could either give us a call on 1300 914 007 or send us an email. Cheers, Laine

Can these spill1 answer

Hi, new to these types of toilets. Can they spill while travelling?

- Canberra(4 months ago)

G'day Steve,

The Dometic toilets come with a double seal and therefore shouldn't spill when travelling. However, to be safe, we would recommend ensuring that you don't overfill the toilet tank and ensure that you travel with the tank on its base.

Dimensions?1 answer

Can you confirm the width, depth and height measurements please. The picture of the unit suggests the H (height) in the description is incorrect so maybe they are mislabeled? Trying to check if this will fit where I want.

- Torquay(10 months ago)

G'day Jill,

It seems that we've just got a little mixed up there, I'll make sure that those dimensions get changed so no-one else gets confused Jill.

In the meantime, the correct height should be 38.7cm, the depth is 38.7 cm and the width should be 33.4 cm.
