Instead of duct taping gear that breaks and hoping for the best – keep an extra strong versatile Voile Strap on hand to get you through your trip without a fuss.
This design has stood the test of time over the past three decades, as it works in extreme weather, and can be daisy-chained together to get the ideal length. It’s from hardwearing stretch polyurethane which also has a UV resistant additive to increase the lifespan, and comes in a range of high-vis colours. It also features a tough heat-treated aluminium buckle which has a slim profile to make it easy to pack.
The applications of this strap are pretty much limitless, so keeps a couple of the Voile Straps in your pack or repair kit for emergencies.

This sounds like it would work quite well, Voile straps are great and can secure almost anything, so just be sure to give it a whirl with some rope or similar to make sure you get one with enough length to secure your ladder.
