A genuine 12V DC replacement cable specifically for Waeco CFX 95 Fridges.
This is made with thicker gauge cable than other Dometic fridge cables to accommodate the extra power drawn by the CFX 95 fridges.

can you replace end with anderson plug
G'day Alex,
If you'd like to you can replace the end with an Anderson Plug. This may void your fridge warranty though, so we'd recommend proceeding with caution if you do.
See above question, also can you get these in lengths longer than 1.5m?
G'day Den,
Yes, these cables are compatible with the newer CFX3 model fridges. They are just available in the one length of 1.5m.
Ok thanks for the reply. 1.5 is not long enough for me, do you know if they will bring out a longer cord? My fridge came with a 1.5 m cable and it won’t reach..
G'day Den,
It's unlikely that they will release a longer cord, as the voltage will drop the longer the cable is. You might be able to get an auto-electrician to wire in a plug in the rear of your vehicle if that's where the fridge is, or alternately they might be able to make you a longer cord with a heavier duty cable.
Hi, is this suitable to replace the original 12 volt cable on a Waeco CF50 fridge so I can use the 2 pin socket of a Dometic PLB40 Portable Lithium Battery 40Ah to run it?
Hi Geoff, follow this link for an identical replacement cable for the CF50 fridge - https://www.snowys.com.au/12v-dc-cf-25-60-cdf-ccf-ff-fridge-cable. I've never tried it but I can't see why the one on this page wouldn't work, it has heavier wiring suited to the larger fridges, but the plug is the same and has the 2 pin connector for the PLB40.
Can you send through the details of the cable - gauge etc
G'day Nina,
The cable gauge isn't something that Dometic indicate in any of their product specifications so unfortunately, we're not able to help you there. What we can tell you is that this cable is specifically designed for the CFX95 model fridges, so if that's what you have then this will do the trick.
The wire is 12 AWG and is printed on the cable itself. For longer lengths I would use 10 AWG or 8 AWG cable due to voltage drop. Cut the plug off at the connector with just enough to solder and heatshrink a join and make the length of 12 AWG cable the shortest you can.
Hi, I’m looking to make an Anderson plug cable for my CFX 75. The heavier cable on this looks attractive as a base. Are the fridge plugs the same?
Yep, the plugs are the same, Stuart. It could be worth consulting an auto electrician for this, or maybe you're clued up on the 12V of things anyway. Long story short, the plugs are all compatible.
We got a 12v cable included but it has wires to attach to a battery not the cigarette plug at the back of the car. Can we plug it into the cigarette plug with this cable? Will it work just as well? Many thanks
G'day Tania,
I've just double checked this with our fridge expert, Jake. He told me that you wouldn't have any issues using the Dometic 12V DC CFX 95DZ2/DZW Fridge Cable on your Dometic Waeco CFX100W.
