For the couples of the cold weather camping world – the Spark -9C Down Sleeping Bag Double by Sea to Summit offers a lightweight sleeping solution.
Boasting a 10D Nylon construction in the shell, lining, hood, and footbox for lightweight breathability and water resistance on every outdoor retreat, its RDS certified 850+ FILL Power goose down provides both comfort when unpacked and a compact pack down – treated with ULTRA-DRY down water-repellent to protect from moisture on the damper days off the grid. Sporting a Mummy Fit for thermal efficiency and minimal weight too, the technical hood also offers a soft-touch adjustment, sitting deep for a warmer winter-camping experience.
To minimise cold spots, vertical and horizontal chest baffles are present in both the lower-half and base, while a box wall baffle construction exists throughout the entirety of the bag. A -2°C comfort rating and -9°C lower limit also has it suitable for sub-zero temperatures on those cold-weather camping trips, embellished with a durable 3/4-length #5 primary zipper, zip plow, two sliders, and a down-filled draft tube that follows it along the top. Plus, the standard front collar draft helps to trap heat.
For a sack that’s serious about sleeping well in the wild – experience double the outdoor dreaming in the Sea to Summit Spark -9C Down Sleeping Bag Double.

Use as an overbag1 answer
How do you think this would work as an overbag for a trip to Denali? In case I wanted to take my current bag rather than buy a Feathered Friends SnowyOwl
Ted - Geelong, VIC(3 months ago)
G'day Ted,
I cant see why you couldn't use it as an overbag, but theres no real way of knowing thermal efficiency for sure. Best bet is to check out the fill weight of this bag, and add that to the fill weight of your current bag. Then compare the total fill weight with another bag that has the same or similar amount. That should give you a rough indication of comfort temp.
