Locking blade?1 answer
Hi just wondering if the main blade locks open? I can see the little ‘press’ tab on the opposite end? Cheers
Daniel - Adelaide, SA(1 year ago)
G'day Daniel,
Yep, the blade does lock open in classic Victorinox style. Any tool component locks into place when open, and you need to partially open another component to release the lock. If you have used a Victorinox before, its the same locking system.

Knife 1 answer
Is this classed as a type M restricted knife in Queensland as "knives with single handed blade realise"? If this is the case, we need a licence to use apparently. What are your understandings about this? Many thanks!
Oliver - Albany Creek, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Oliver,
According to QLD police Category M Weapons are any knife designed or constructed so as to be used as a weapon that while the knife is held in one hand, the blade may be released by that same hand. The reference to design and construction as a weapon is to ensure that this definition of a Category M Weapon does not apply to a knife specifically designed as a tool. Any knife clearly designed as a utility knife is different from a knife designed as a weapon.
Based on that information I'd assume Swiss Multitools are not classified as Category M Weapons, but I do strongly suggest you clarify this with your local authorities prior to purchasing.

What Victorinox sheath size for this knife?1 answer
Hi, wondering if you sell a suitable sheath for this Swiss Army knife? Thanks.
Wendy - Perth(4 years ago)
G'day Wendy,
The Nylon Heath 2-3 Layer 120mm is the best match for the Soldier One-Handed Knife.
