With an elongated installation arm, the Eclipse 180/270 Long L Bracket is the go-to for awning adventures with platform-style roof racks.
Coupled with the separately available Darche two-piece channel bolt set, this bracket spans the divide between bonnet to boot rails, ensuring two solid points of contact to keep your awning secure. Made from the same durable, weatherproof, powder-coated steel as the original fixing kit, it’s a straight bracket swap – choose one, two, or a full set of three, depending on your rack system.

Hi Lauren, Does this bracket fit Rhino Rack Tradie 6, 1.5m rack? How many brackets would I need to mount the Darche free standing 180deg LED awning....2 or 3?
G'day Adrian,
I'm almost certain they will, from memory the Pioneer Tradie is the same as the standard Pioneer with its mounting points.
The long brackets are 28mm long on the section that rests on the racks, so this will span the outter rail and the next one in.
The Eclipse 180 Freestanding Awning only requires 2 brackets.
Can I put bushwakka 270 awning on this bracket?
G'day Max,
I've just taken some quick measurements and the holes of the Darche bracket don't align in any configuration with the backing plate on the Bushwakka 270 - they're not compatible sorry.
How many bracket do u get in the price? 1 or a pair of brackets?
G'day Marv,
The listing for the Long L Bracket is for one single bracket.
Hi will this fit to a front runner slimline mk II
G'day Barney,
The rails on the platform you've mentioned run side to side over the vehicle, so you shouldn't have any issues mounting these brackets.
You'll likely need some t-channel bolts or similar, that are suited to your platform rack though, but the brackets themselves should be fine.
Hope that helps.
Hello, could you give me the distance between the bottom and top two holes on the upright face of the bracket, trying to find a bracket to fit another brand of awning. Thanks
G'day Doug,
There are 4 holes total - 2 top & 2 bottom, and measurements are centre to centre.
The holes are 10mm diameter.
Between outer bottom & top - 133mm
Between outer and opposing inner - 113mm
between inner bottom & top - 93mm
Hopefully this makes sense!
