Is this bag waterproof?

G'day Morgan,

No they're not. Waterproof bags require different materials, and abit more engineering to ensure water cant get in.
There are a few options in our range, the Sea to Summit Duffle Bags or the Caribee Waterproof Range.

G'day Narelle,

No, its not. The bag fabric does have a thin polyurethane coating on the back which may help with splashes or very very light rain - but the zips and all stitching/seams are not waterproofed, so this bag cant be relied on to keep gear dry in any wet weather.

Would this be suitable to carry turbo twin 300 fly and pegs? Id like to carry them separately to the main tent bag. If not this what would you recommend in a blackwolf bag?

How many outfits will fit in this bag?1 answer

I need to pack the following: 2 shorts, 5 t-shirts, 1 tracksuit, 1 jeans, 1 jacket, undies, toiletries and a compact sleeping bag - 11kg with bag. We are booked on a camping trip and are limited to this weight. Cheers Susanne

Hi Susanne, This ones a bit tricky to answer, as I don't know how big your sleeping bag is or how much your items will weigh all together. I'd recommend placing the items you intend to take into a green shopping bag and measuring the dimensions and weighing the total. Then compare this to the dimensions of the 50L Duffle pack, which are 60L x 30W x 35H. This is the best way to tell without having the duffle bag immediately in front of you.
