The flag is fluoro orange with reflective cross tape for visibility and can be mounted up to 3m to ensure it’s seen. This kit is designed to handle the rugged environment of the desert as it has a solid 3-piece fibreglass pole, heavy duty quick connectors, stainless steel threaded joints, and chrome plated mounting hardware. Installation is easy, and it can be removed and packed up into the included bag until it’s time to hit the tracks again.

The 4x4 Safety Sand Flag from Bushranger is designed to meet the safety requirements for use in the Simpson and Flinders desert in South Australia – so it’s a must for your next outback expedition.

We've just measured this, and the thread is 12mm.
It should fit into a standard antenna/accessory hole on your bullbar.

Hi, does the Bushranger safety flag come with a bracket to mount to a Thule roof bar? I don’t have a bill bar to use.

G'day Jeremy,

It doesn't unfortunately, there's an assumption it will screw straight into an antenna port, for example.
A quick google search shows DIY roof rack mounting is common, there are a lot of resources to show you how others have made it work online.
Check out this thread as an example, and a good place to start.
