Unfortunately the tap bung on these water cubes is pre-drilled and comes with a bung already installed. An alternative could be the Pro Quip 10 Litre Light Blue Plastic Water Jerry Can, although this does have a pressure relief valve on the top.

I've just had a quick check around the team and no-one here has used this water container - we're not able to provide any real-life feedback I'm sorry!
The only thing I can say is that all plastic water containers will have generally have a bit of a taste for the first little while.  You can use a lemon juice and bicarb soda soak to help speed up the dissipation process, but I'm not aware of any containers other than glass options that are 100% taste free from the get go.

Perhaps someone who has used these will be able to chime in and give more info.
