The BlackWolf Ultralight 2 Hiking Tent is for hikers and backpackers who want a compact, reliable, and low-profile tent for rugged outdoor adventures.
When you’re in intense conditions, the last thing you want is a big protruding shelter that rattles around in the wind. The Mantis is low to the ground which will help keep your shelter secure when conditions aren’t ideal. The nylon fly has a Waterhead rating of 2000mm, and taped seams to keep you dry should the weather turn sour. For warmer evenings you'll still get some cool coming through the tent thanks to the mesh head and foot vents and dual doors.
The Mantis UL 2 allows enough room under the vestibules for you to store your boots or other dirty gear out of the way and has internal storage pockets to keep your valuables within arm's reach. For a low-profile and reliable tent that’ll shelter you after a rugged day on the track, you can’t go past the Mantis Ultralight 2 Hiking Tent from BlackWolf.

4 Seasons Tent1 answer
Is this considered a four seasons tent for the winter-side of Spring?
Aaron - Condor, ACT(4 months ago)
G'day Aaron,
This is a 3 season tent, but would be suitable for your round use in most climates of Australia. You may run into trouble with constant, heavy rain, or snow, but for the most part you'd be ok to use it of the winter side of spring. All my tents are 3 season, and use them year round without issues.

Replacement Poles1 answer
Hi I am trying to replace my 2 poles for my Black Wolf Mantis 2 tent. What’s is the cost for replacements please
Paulene - Warabrook, NSW (10 months ago)
G'day Paulene,
We are sorry to say we don't carry spare poles for this tent. Best bet is to head over to Black Wolf Spares page here and check out the spare poles they have on offer.

No see-um mesh1 answer
Does this model have no see-um mesh
Sam - Mosman, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Sam,
No, it doesn't. Generally, if a brand uses No-See-Um mesh specifically in their products, it will be listed in the specifications under materials. Having said that, I've used one of these hiking tents in Scandinavia next to very mozzie and midge filled marshlands with no issues. Its not a guarantee, but hopefully my experience helps with your decision.
